My treat for you this spooky day is my favorite Halloween snack mix.
HALLOWEEN SNACK MIX
6 cups caramel corn
2 cups cashews (or peanuts)
1/2 cups raisins
1-2 cups candy corn
Comine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. Optional: Place in clear, individual snack bags for kids or bake sales.
This is colorful, easy and delicious! Serves 8-10. Enjoy!
I got sick on candy corn as a kid (didn't know when to stop eating) and have not been able to eat it since, but your recipe sounds like it would look pretty in the bags. Hope all is well with you and yours.ReplyDelete
Hope 3rd time is charm--have had my comments disappear twice now. Probably cyber gremlins punishing me for taking so long to get back "in the groove." :-)Delete
I have a treat recipe similar to yours--I didn't make it this year as I can't seem to stay out of it. I love Halloween and enjoy making unique treats for the g-kids. I used to have Monster Mouth parties for the g-kids and the neighbor girl. I think I had more fun than the kiddoes. :-)
Maybe a red or green candy would work!ReplyDelete
